Scaling is one of the important issues in the process of geothermal fluid extraction. The paper tries to use hydro-geochemistry simulating technology to study scaling of the high-temperature geothermal well in Kangding County. The results show that the geothermal well in Kangding County scales seriously as geothermal fluid temperature, pH, pressure and redox environment change in the mining process. The main type of deposition is carbonate, following by metal Fe, and silicate or sulfate fouling is little or none. The simulation result is close to the practical case. The method can provide theoretical basis for reasonable development and utilization of geothermal resource through analyzing the results of deposition types and scaling trend with water chemical indicators.
